Real Estate Client Management For Outlook Issues and Release History FAQ and Known Issues: - RECM won't install if Outlook 2010 is downloaded from Microsoft. Microsoft has introduced a new method of delivering software called "Click To Run". It installs Office products (like Outlook) into a "Virtual Environment" that is separate from the normal Windows file system. (You can read about it at: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/what-is-click-to-run-HA101868855.aspx?CTT=1). We're researching how to install RECM if users installed Outlook using this method. - If you have been testing other real estate client management products/Outlook add-ins then you need to ensure they have been completely uninstalled. We've seen issues where these products stepped on RECM -- even though users had run the other product's uninstall application, the products did not completely remove themselves (an issue with their uninstall process). One of the places to check is under Tools/Trust Center then look in Add-Ins. You can also look to see if their forms were removed under Tools/Forms/Choose Form then use drop down to see the forms currently installed. - Your primary account must connect to a POP email server (this is the standard for most folks). If your primary account connects to a MAPI email server (e.g. Hotmail), then RECM cannot create the RECM folders. To correct, create a POP-based email account and point to it for the primary storage for your calendar/contacts. - Campiagn Deferred Email not being sent. If you open a campaign email in the Outbox after it has been created, you'll need to close it by clicking the "Send" button. Else, the email's sent date will be set to "None" and will not be sent out. This is a normal Outlook behavior. - Non-English versions of the Windows Operating System: RECM may not install. The problem is the Windows administrative accounts are not named the same. When RECM installs, it uses the English name of these accounts which don't exist (i.e. named differently) in the Spanish, German, French, and Italian versions of the windows operating system. If you use a non-English version of Windows, please contact us. We'd like to work with you to get the appropriate accounts identified and added. - Your Outlook .pst file can become corrupted if you allow it get over 2GB in size. This is a limitation of Outlook itself (not RECM). We recommend that you archive your data into a seperate .pst file before it reaches this point. Release History: Version 3.6 - Under the Purchase Form - Candidate Properties tab, users are able to generate a scheduling appointment that includes in the notes area a list of candidate proprties formated to show the MLS number and the property address. Clicking on the MLS number should open a browser link to show the property details. For some users, the website address was beside the MLS number. This patch corrected that issue. - Perfomance improvements when opening forms and contacts. RECM forms were not opening quickly for users with large numbers of contacts (e.g. 1,000+).
